  • Description: Many years ago, Vasilis (Nikos Xanthopoylos) left for the U.S., leaving behind him his wife, Martha (Martha Vourtsi), and his newborn son. Due to an accident, he suffered from amnesia. Now, having regained his memory, he returns to Athens rich, but doesn’t want to invade their lives suddenly. He has been informed that Martha is a worker in Germany. He sees that his son, Kyriakos, who lives with his grandmother selling bread rolls and lottery tickets, attends a private school. With the help of his friend Hatzis, he gradually earns the child’s trust, without revealing his real identity. Martha knows that her husband has been remarried in the U.S. and fears that he will take Kyriakos away from her. However, she quickly understands his actual intentions and treats his second wife with respect. As for herself, she decides to marry an old friend of hers, who loves her, and lets Kyriakos go to the U.S. to study. However, completely out of the blue, a few days before Christmas Vasilis returns to Greece, the family gets back together and they live happily ever after.
